Only 22 people have voted in this pole since inception and all it proves is that a large majority of people vote for what they shoot with. I have been a Nikon man all my life but recognise that both Canon and Nikon are great cameras and it is good for the general public for them to be in close competition. I often joke with Canon owners about how much better Nikon is but the truth is I am lucky to be able to shoot with both manufacturers products and know that they are both good but have strengths and weaknesses. Canons latest offerings, the 7d and the 1d Mark IV are both new cameras while Nikons D300s and D3s are upgrades of previous models -- but when evaluating the overall product they are still very close with Canon shading Nikon. When the D4 and D400 are released I fully expect that Nikon will take a step ahead and that Canon will do so again on their next new camera release. Photographers are very fortunate to have this rivalry so that both manufaturers are forced to stay on their toes particularly with the other contenders snapping at their heals. In any event it is not the equipment that should be the criteria but the results.

Thanks for the technical feedback, the poll was just meant as a bit of fun and glad that some people voted. Will change it soon.
